I'm sorry, Lord,
for I have failed Your test of faith miserably.
I have failed to love as You commanded me to.
You taught me to love my enemies,
but all I did was to hurt him.
Help me, Father, please.
My sinful heart is not helping,
I'm struggling to love.
Grant me a loving heart, dear Lord,
so that I may be loving to him and her,
no matter how much they have hurt me.
I'm sorry, Lord, that I have dishonoured You,
I've sinned in my anger.
Help me to glorify You by loving my enemies, Father.
